Where the Wild Things Are (and Other Wild Things)

So this past weekend I went with my boyfriend and a couple friends to go see Where the Wild Things Are. However regardless of the mixed reviews I loved it and was blown away by the sheer beauty of the thing. So I decided to do some research on the creators of the larger than life, fantastical monster costumes, turns out it was all made by Jim Henson company (think muppets) which when you sat back made a lot of sense.
