Armor rings, while they are neither a new phenomenon nor are any of these pieces particularly original they have had my undying love for sometime now. They remain the symbol of bad girl, old school, punk. From my first introduction to the odd accessory in a rather peculiar animated japanese show called Nana.

I am not certain how you wear these or if they are simply concept pieces.
This ring is fairly boring, but I could not resist the badassery of her expression.
